Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join our dealership's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting the overall well-being of our employees. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working in a family-friendly atmosphere and has a passion for people management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, including benefits, performance reviews, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Process payroll, manage employee benefits enrollment, and answer any related questions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR policies are in line with federal, state, and local regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and other labor laws.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Training & Development: Assist with organizing employee training sessions and professional development initiatives.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department, including scheduling, reporting, and supporting various HR initiatives and projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and payroll management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HR software or payroll systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
