Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors at the New Lisbon facility
- Support full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly and salaried roles
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including coaching, investigations, and performance management
- Assist with benefits administration and leave management (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Partner with leaders on engagement, retention, and workforce planning initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Support training efforts, including new‑hire orientation and ongoing development
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a safe, respectful, and employee‑owner‑focused workplace culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels
- Hands‑on, solutions‑oriented approach with a high level of discretion and integrity
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred
