Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where processes are still evolving and there is real opportunity to build, improve, and shape HR operations.
As our organization continues to grow, this position will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, strengthening HR processes, and helping ensure a positive and compliant workplace. The HR Generalist will partner closely with the HR Director and Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support employees and managers across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Coordinate and support full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and reference checks
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation
- Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews and termination documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
Employee Relations & Manager Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and documentation
- Support investigations and employee relations matters in partnership with the HR Director
- Assist with the administration and tracking of performance management processes
HR Operations & Process Improvement
- Help build, refine, and document HR processes to support a growing organization
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and employee experience across HR functions
- Develop tools, templates, and workflows to strengthen HR operations
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives including engagement efforts, training programs, and organizational improvements
Policy & Compliance Support
- Support administration and communication of HR policies and procedures
- Assist with maintaining the employee handbook and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws
- Partner with the Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support leave tracking and employee documentation as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions such as recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and HR administration
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and HR compliance practices.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS (BambooHR).
Preferred
- Experience in a growing or scaling organization
- Experience improving or developing HR processes and workflows
- Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practices
- SHRM-CP certification
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
