Human Resource Generalist

Westlake Financial Services is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HR Generalist. The ideal individual will be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate excel is required for the position as well as previous experience in a Human Resources administrative function with Leave Administration.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of HR functions, from onboarding to employee relations and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day HR operations and respond to employee inquiries
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Participate in employee relations activities, investigations, and performance management processes
- Coordinate training and development initiatives
- Generate HR reports and analyze HR metrics
- Support timekeeping as needed for adjustment and final checks
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
PAY RATE:
- We offer a competitive starting base salary of $68,640 - $69,500,
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable
