Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist participates as an integral and cooperative team member in achieving department-related goals for the agency. We are seeking an individual who has strong customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a minimum of Intermediate skill in Excel. We are a mission-driven organization, and welcome candidates who bring the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. This position is Monday-Friday and pays $20.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience.

DUTIES:

• Welcoming new hires, to include gathering and tracking required employment documents.
• Accurate and timely HRIS management.
• Report creation and analysis for various projects.
• Benefit program understanding and communication to employees to include enrollment support.
• Compliance tasks associated with Spurwink's licensing and agency requirements.
• Process employee requests timely and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree in HR, Business, related degree, or equivalent education and/or experience required. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related degree preferred. Working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act strongly preferred. Experience working in a health care or mental health care setting is preferred.
