Detailed Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the HR department and carrying out various responsibilities, including but not limited to the following functional areas: recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits, preparing reports, and document drafting.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate talent acquisition processes with hiring managers and assist with recruitment tasks
  • Complete the onboarding process of new employees from the application and related paperwork/tasks to new hire orientation
  • Manage recruiting workflow in Applicant Tracking System, including online assessments, employment offers, pre-employment tests, I-9 compliance, and all correspondence with candidates
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Screen candidate's resumes and job applications
  • Manage recruitment activities
  • Assist managers with reviewing job descriptions 
  • Maintain HCM system records and department tracking files, ensuring timely and accurate records
  • Assist with administering the company's learning management system (LMS)
  • Assist in drafting and updating the company's policies, procedures and standards under a supervisor's oversight
  • Assist with employee relation initiatives to enhance retention efforts
  • Assist in conducting exit interviews and process required termination paperwork
  • Assist in benefit administration
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Job competencies:

  • A four-year bachelor's degree, preferred in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Will accept experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strong self-motivation, a team player, and a quick learner
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe editor
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to take multitask
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment
  • Must be passionate about working in HR.

Physical Demands: 

  • Requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space-limited areas
  • Consistently work at a productive pace
  • May be required to lift up to 15 pounds at one time
