Job Description for Human Resources Generalist:
As Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource practices and processes. You will play a critical role in managing our most valuable asset - our employees. Key responsibilities include: handling employee relations, addressing grievances, and mediating workplace conflicts to maintain a positive work environment. You will develop and oversee employee benefits and programs, coordinate training and development initiatives, and manage performance appraisal systems.
Job Responsibilities for Human Resources Generalist:
- Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Provide guidance to managers & employees on performance-related matters, including coaching and performance improvement strategies.
- Foster a positive, productive and supportive work culture, to enhance employee satisfaction and drive organizational success.
- Develop an HRIS system.
- Develop, implement and monitor overall HR policies, strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Re-assess benefits, research, secure, administer and roll out new benefits to include health insurance, life insurance and 401K plans.
- Must be knowledgeable with FMLA and Workers Compensation
- Create learning and development programs that provide internal development opportunities for employees
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Assess, implement and monitor training programs
- Conduct research on employee satisfaction and respond accordingly to the results
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities for Human Resources Generalist:
- Proven 3 years of HR management or other HR experience
- SHRM Certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- People oriented and results driven
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year - depending upon experience
