Here at Trapper's Sushi Co. we are an energetic and growing team committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support the full spectrum of human resources functions.

As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws in all states we operate in, and promoting best practices across all HR functions. You will serve as a point of contact for employees and managers and corporate, providing guidance and support in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits, training, and policy administration.

Compensation and benefits for this position include an hourly rate ranging from $31-$36 per hour ($65,000-$75,000 annually). Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of HR experience; generalist experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience a plus
  • Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, and reach
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (e.g., boxes of files or office supplies)
  • Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
  • Ability to maintain focus in a busy, open office environment
