We are currently seeking a Multi-Site Manufacturing - Human Resources Generalist, for Techmer PM. This position will be based in Clinton, TN. The pay range for this role is $75,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist – Multi-Site Manufacturing supports HR operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role partners with plant leaders and corporate HR to ensure consistent application of HR policies, employment practices, and compliance standards across locations. The HR Generalist provides hands-on support to both hourly and salaried employees, with a strong focus on employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Site Employee Relations & Leadership Support

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to plant managers and supervisors across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Provide consistent guidance on employee relations, attendance, performance management, and corrective action
  • Conduct and support workplace investigations across locations, ensuring fairness, documentation, and timely resolution
  • Coach leaders on effective people management and policy application across shifts and sites

Compliance, Labor & Policy Consistency

  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, work rules, and HR practices across all locations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and state-specific requirements
  • Support internal audits, regulatory reporting, and HR compliance initiatives across sites
  • Identify site-specific risks and partner with leadership to implement corrective actions

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Support high-volume hourly and salaried recruiting for multiple manufacturing facilities
  • Partner with plant and operations leadership to forecast staffing needs and support workforce planning initiatives
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation to ensure a consistent new hire experience across locations
  • Support temporary labor, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs as applicable

Benefits, Leave & Attendance Administration

  • Administer benefits programs and serve as a resource for employee questions across sites
  • Manage leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation) and coordinate with site leadership
  • Support consistent attendance tracking and policy enforcement across facilities

HR Operations, Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS for all supported locations
  • Support timekeeping audits, payroll coordination, and resolution of pay-related issues
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, headcount, and compliance trends by site

Training, Safety & Engagement

  • Support training initiatives across locations, including safety, harassment prevention, and leadership training
  • Partner with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to promote a strong and consistent safety culture
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and communication efforts across sites

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in multi-site manufacturing or industrial operations
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, wage and hour regulations, and HR best practices
  • Proven experience supporting hourly workforces and front-line leaders across multiple locations
  • Proficiency with HRIS, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel regularly and work effectively in multiple plant environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience supporting multi-shift or 24/7 operations
  • Familiarity with union environments (if applicable)
  • Experience driving consistency and standardization across multiple sites
