SRC is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team! We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for administering all Human Resources activities including Benefits Administration, Payroll Processing, Employee Engagement and other daily activities of the Human Resources. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a strategy.

Required Skills

  • Maintaining HRIS records and all HR documentation to insure systematic, accurate, compliant records are maintained
  • Responsible for all in‐processing to include, offer letters, reference checks, background checks, new hire paperwork, issuing badges, E-Verify and initiating the in‐processing sheet for all departments to complete, drug testing and any necessary follow up
  • Assisting in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results, of departments in relation to established goals; recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of departments and services
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements and consulting with HR leadership and legal counsel to ensure policies and procedures comply with legal requirements
  • Effectively managing employee relations issues within established protocols including career-pathing, conflict resolution, counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
  • Executing performance management and performance assessment processes that result in associates who understand expectations, receive performance feedback, and have development plans executed on a continual basis
  • Process payroll weekly/bi‐weekly
  • Analyzing and reconciling all payroll records and preparing timely reports, journal entries, and forms on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Effectively communicating and presenting material of varying complexity including one-on-one meetings, group meetings, and facility-wide employee meetings to employees at all levels in the organization
  • Executing communication programs to ensure effective communication tools are in place
  • Executing effective new hire orientation and on-boarding programs
  • Utilizing established protocols and relationships in addition to managing and conducting recruitment campaigns for all hourly/production non-exempt and temporary associates
