Position Summary:

The Human Resources Manager plays a vital leadership role in supporting the operational success of the warehouse by managing all HR functions on-site. This role is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and performance management, while ensuring a safe and positive work environment that aligns with company values and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for all warehouse staff, including hourly and salaried employees.

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for warehouse roles.

  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating resolutions, and conducting investigations as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).

  • Monitor attendance, performance, and disciplinary processes to ensure consistency and fairness.

  • Partner with warehouse leadership to support employee engagement, retention, and workforce planning.

  • Administer HR programs including benefits, time off, leaves of absence, and payroll coordination.

  • Maintain HRIS records, personnel files, and documentation in compliance with company policy and regulations.

  • Lead or support safety training, workplace injury response, and incident documentation in collaboration with Safety or Operations teams.

  • Provide coaching and support to supervisors on performance management and leadership development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.

  • 3–5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and labor compliance.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (if applicable to workforce).
