Priority Envelope is a leading manufacturer and supplier of custom envelopes made for the direct marketing and transactional mail industries. We have an immediate need for a Human Resources Manager for our facility located in Plymouth, MN.

The HR Manager is responsible for human resources related activities including: Recruitment, Onboarding, and Record Management, Leave Administration, Performance Administration, Employee Relations and Engagement, Talent Development, Work Comp Administration, Legal response for Unemployment, EEOC, OSHA and State Agency allegations. and Company Purpose/Vision/Values Integration. This position is responsible for collaborating and coaching managers on employee relations issues.

TALENT ACQUISITION AND STAFFING:

  • Responsible for all recruiting activities and recruiting budget for designated facilities.
  • Support Talent Acquisition processes include managing postings, reviewing applications, screening candidates, coordinating interview processes, and managing offer and pre-employment processes, when needed.
  • Work with Production and/or Plant Managers to review staffing needs and strategies.

ONBOARDING:

  • Manage and administer the onboarding process including HR, safety, and benefit orientations for new employees.

RECORD MANAGEMENT:

  • Administer and maintain records related to new employee reviews, employee files and attendance tracking.
  • Ensure consistent administration and HRIS tracking for employment: applications, onboarding, terminations, job/shift changes, compensation, and payroll events.

LEAVE ADMINISTRATION:

  • Administer leave policies, processes, and practices for FMLA, Work Comp, ADAA and Personal Leaves of Absences.

PERFORMANCE ADMINISTRATION:

  • Monitor and Audit the Performance Review materials and administration process.

TALENT DEVELOPMENT:

  • Support organization development and change management initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Work with managers to determine appropriate training/development resources for selected employees.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/ENGAGEMENT/POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION:

  • Audit/Review and Author Company Policies as appropriate.
  • Serve as a resource for employee relations issues for supervisors. Conduct investigations regarding employee misconduct, performance transgression, policy/procedure violations and absenteeism.
  • Create and coordinate employee wellness and engagement activities and programs.

SAFETY/WORKERS COMPENSATION:

  • Assist Operations with coordinating workplace health and safety programs and initiatives.
  • Administer the Workers Compensation program through near-miss, accident, medical attention, lost time, return to work events.

COMPLIANCE REPRESENTATIVE:

  • Author official company responses to Unemployment, EEOC, OSHA and State Agency allegations.

COMPANY PURPOSE/VISION/VALUES INTEGRATION:

  • Partner with HR Department to administer companywide HR projects and events, annual benefit renewal, performance management and compensation processes.
  • Provide guidance, back up and support for other members of HR department.
