About the Role:
We're on the hunt for an experienced Human Resources Manager/Accounting Assistant to join our growing team! This dual-role opportunity combines the people-first focus of HR with the detail-driven world of accounting.
Human Resources Duties:
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process from posting to onboarding
  • Maintain HR compliance, update employee handbooks, and administer benefits (COBRA, unemployment, insurance, etc.)
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding, payroll setup, and background checks
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processing (bonuses, spiffs, W-2s, tax info)
  • Organize performance reviews and employee communications
  • Plan company events and community outreach
  • Maintain tax compliance for out-of-state staff

Accounting/Administrative Duties:
  • Process AP/AR invoices and reconcile vendor statements
  • Communicate with vendors and ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Manage office supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep
  • Support QuickBooks Online and Excel-based financial tracking

What We’re Looking For:
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred (Business, HR, Accounting, etc.)
  • 2+ years in HR or accounting roles (both preferred)
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (FrankCrum & HCMToGo a plus)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Professional, confidential, and collaborative mindset
