About the Role: We're on the hunt for an experienced Human Resources Manager/Accounting Assistant to join our growing team! This dual-role opportunity combines the people-first focus of HR with the detail-driven world of accounting. Human Resources Duties:
Lead the full-cycle recruitment process from posting to onboarding
Maintain HR compliance, update employee handbooks, and administer benefits (COBRA, unemployment, insurance, etc.)
Oversee onboarding/offboarding, payroll setup, and background checks
Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processing (bonuses, spiffs, W-2s, tax info)
Organize performance reviews and employee communications
Plan company events and community outreach
Maintain tax compliance for out-of-state staff
Accounting/Administrative Duties:
Process AP/AR invoices and reconcile vendor statements
Communicate with vendors and ensure timely payments
Reconcile vendor statements
Manage office supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep
Support QuickBooks Online and Excel-based financial tracking
