Position Overview

The Dallas Bulls are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions, supporting the organization’s growth and culture. This role will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR administration, ensuring a positive and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.

    • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.

  • Employee Relations & Culture

    • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.

    • Promote organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Compliance & Policy Management

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

  • Performance Management & Training

    • Oversee performance appraisal processes and support professional development.

    • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.

  • HR Administration

    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

    • Manage benefits administration and payroll coordination.

  • Strategic HR Support

    • Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

    • Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in sports or a fast-paced environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Attributes

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

  • Experience managing HR in a professional sports or entertainment organization.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels.
