That means we’re looking for someone who understands the strategic importance of relationships and role clarity in a values-driven organization.
We’re seeking an experienced HR Manager to serve as the on-site leader of Human Resources at a critical moment in our clinic’s growth and evolution. This role steps into a structure that will be vacated by a long-tenured and respected remote HR Director. The incoming manager will be supported by a thoughtful transition plan that includes onboarding guidance from the outgoing leader, as well as access to institutional knowledge and well-established systems.

The position is ideal for someone with prior end-to-end HR ownership in a small to midsize organization (100–200 employees), preferably in healthcare, education, nonprofit, or another human services setting. SHRM-CP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
You’re the person who sees the whole board. You can handle complexity without drama and lead with clarity when others are overwhelmed. You’re not looking to do HR from a distance, and you want to be in the building, in the room, in the mix. You believe HR is about protecting people and the system.
You’ve worked in environments where you had to earn trust. You understand that healthcare settings are emotionally charged, and that HR is often the quiet force that keeps things moving forward.
You know when to speak, when to listen, and when to draw a line. You’ve probably been told, “You’re the adult in the room," and you took it as a compliment.
