Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations and manage escalated employee relations issues
  • Oversee compliance audits and legal documentation
  • Support recruiting and onboarding processes
  • Coordinate with IT and supervisors for new hire setup
  • Assist with compliant benefits and leave of absence documentation
  • Automate HR workflows 


Qualifications

  •  Effectively oversee every hiring process to adapt to evolving business needs, ensuring both compliance and smooth operations.
  •  Conduct and document workplace investigations, handling employee concerns and resolving issues as they arise
  •  Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies through regular audits and reviews
  •  Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, making sure all necessary paperwork and requirements are met
  •  Coordinate with other departments to set up new employees with necessary resources and access
  •  Coordinate the management of employee benefits and support leave of absence requests, keeping all records accurate and up to date
  •  Maintain and update HR records in the organization’s systems, ensuring information remains secure and current
  •  Address HR-related questions from employees and managers, providing guidance as needed
Requirements


  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in property management or compliance-heavy industries
  • Bachelor's Degree or HR Certificate 
  • Strong knowledge of California labor law and HRIS systems
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
