The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the administration and performance of the Industrial Relations program in the following areas:  Policies and Procedures, Safety, Personnel Requirements, Staffing and Training. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Administer and coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviews, pre-employment drug testing, physicals, backgrounds, and new hire orientation for the operation.
  2. Support employee relations by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive workplace culture
  3. Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in UKG and personnel files
  5. Process payroll changes, promotions, terminations, and other employee status updates
  6. Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and open enrollment processes
  7. Assist in performance management processes and documentation
  8. Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  9. Participate in HR projects such as employee engagement, and training programs,
  10. Generate HR reports and metrics as needed
  11. Complete all state unemployment claims
  12. Enforce company policies and procedures
  13. Conduct employee meetings on a one-on-one basis periodically
  14. Operates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, package and ship material

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have good written and verbal communications skills
  2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  3. HR experience preferred; manufacturing or warehousing industry experience is a plus
  4. Knowledge of HR best practices and employment/labor laws
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, ADP, Paycom, Workday)
  6. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  7. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  8. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required
  9. Must have a thorough knowledge of WSI policies and procedures
  10. Travel may be required
