The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall administration, organization, and evaluation of the hospital’s human resources function in coordination with the Corporate Human Resources team. This position must integrate company values into daily practice.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters, in collaboration with Corporate HR subject matter experts when necessary.
- Ensures Hospital compliance with federal and state regulations relating to Human Resources issues to include maintaining and updating employee and contract labor files and records, in keeping with regulatory and Corporate requirements.
- Leads recruitment and onboarding functions for hospital. Provides Hospital New Employee Orientation and training.
- Updates and reviews bi-weekly payroll data for corporate processing along with processing and coordinating coordinates Hospital Workers' Compensation claims administration, employee leave (FMLA, Military, etc.), and unemployment claims.
- Works directly with department managers to assist them in personnel matters to include employee counseling.
Requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
- Three years’ generalist experience required.
- Two years’ experience in HR Management role required.
- Experience in health care/hospital environment strongly preferred.
- Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation
- HR certification (HRCI/SHRM) preferred.
- Must maintain acceptable driving record, current driver’s license, and insurability.
