We are seeking a decisive HR Manager who understands operations, benefits, labor law, and enforcement — and is prepared to protect standards across a multi-site healthcare organization.
This role is responsible for policy enforcement, compliance oversight, benefits administration, recruiting discipline, and workforce accountability.
This is not a passive HR role.
This position requires leadership, documentation discipline, and the ability to act when standards are not met.
This role is fully on-site for the first 90 days.
Hybrid consideration may be evaluated after 90 days based strictly on performance, documentation quality, and operational control.
Enforce company policies across all locations
Issue and oversee corrective action documentation
Conduct internal investigations
Oversee legally compliant terminations
Ensure managers follow documentation standards
Maintain compliance with federal and state labor laws (NY/NJ preferred)
Oversee wage/hour compliance
Manage FMLA, ADA, leave administration
Maintain audit-ready employee files
Reduce organizational legal exposure
Oversee health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits
Manage open enrollment
Coordinate with vendors and brokers
Ensure accurate payroll-benefit alignment
Understand staffing models and labor cost impact
Identify workforce inefficiencies
Partner with leadership on workforce planning
Support scalable HR systems within UKG
Audit hiring documentation and interview discipline
Track 30/60/90-day retention
Identify turnover risk patterns
Hold managers accountable for hiring quality
5+ years HR management experience in multi-site healthcare or service environment
Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor law
Experience handling investigations and employee discipline
Experience managing benefits administration
Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
Strong documentation discipline
Comfortable addressing non-compliance directly
