ABOUT THE ROLE

The HR Manager – North America will lead and coordinate all human resources operations across the U.S. and Canada, supporting approximately 90 employees in multiple locations, including the Charlotte headquarters, California warehouse, and Canadian legal entity. This role will play a pivotal part in driving organizational change, enhancing HR processes, and fostering a cohesive, performance-driven culture in alignment with global policies and local requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with leadership to implement organizational and cultural change initiatives, ensuring strong execution, clear communication, and high employee engagement.
  • Redesign and standardize HR processes such as onboarding, performance management, training, and communication in line with Group guidelines.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts, ensuring smooth integration of new hires and consistency across locations.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, addressing employee relations and providing day-to-day support.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian labor laws, including documentation, audits, and updates, with support from external advisors.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration in partnership with external providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement through practical initiatives and consistent HR practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and records in accordance with internal standards.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or related field; Master’s or HR certification (SHRM, PHR) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years’ HR generalist or HRBP experience, ideally in industrial or distribution sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor law and familiarity with Canadian employment regulations.
  • Proven experience in multi-site HR management and organizational change initiatives.
  • Skilled in managing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Ability to adapt global HR policies to local operations while ensuring compliance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to company sites and headquarters in Italy.
