Job Summary: We are seeking a Marketing & HR Specialist to support marketing communications/branding and assist with staffing and onboarding. You will coordinate digital and print collateral, events materials, and light marketing analytics; and you will partner with HR on postings, screening, background checks, onboarding paperwork, orientation, and PPE coordination. Experience in construction or mining and in small-company environments is a plus. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Administration/Branding
    • Coordinate marketing communication material including digital, print, and other initiatives.
    • Organize and manage marketing materials for brochures and events that align with the company strategy.
    • Gather and analyze data and trends, customer preferences and use the insights for company effectiveness.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written marketing communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Organization:
    • Strong organizational, accurate and time management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously across the business.
  • Staffing Assistance:
    • Assist in the creation of job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding documents.
    • Maintain data accuracy for candidate status.
    • Provide new hire paperwork and eligibility verification.
    • Initiate and monitor background checks and drug testing as required
    • Facilitate orientation sessions.
    • Ensure new hire paperwork and eligibility verification are timely and complete.
    • Coordinate Personal Protective Equipment orders and safety expectations before employees start assignment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Software usage with Content Management Systems (CMS), email marketing tools, graphic design applications (i.e., Canva).

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or HR is preferable within a small company (less than 150 employees)
  • Experience in the construction and/or mining industry is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects (Northern Colorado or Southeastern Wyoming) and other company locations to perform occasional onsite duties.

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000
