Job Summary
Pabst Labs is seeking an Office Manager & HR Assistant to support the smooth and efficient functioning of our Desert Hot Springs manufacturing facility. In this dynamic role, you will manage daytoday administrative operations, ensure a wellorganized office environment, and provide HR support across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement.
This role is ideal for a detailoriented, highly organized professional who thrives in a fastpaced production environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. You will play a key role in supporting plant leadership, enhancing internal processes, and ensuring a positive employee experience as our business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
Office Management

  • Oversee daily administrative operations for the manufacturing facility.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, purchasing, and inventory.
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and facility-related needs.
  • Maintain organized recordkeeping systems, documentation, and general office workflows.
  • Assist with coordinating company events, training, and onsite meetings.
  • Ensure facility compliance with safety, cleanliness, and administrative standards.

Human Resources Support
  • Assist in posting open roles, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork and orientation scheduling.
  • Help maintain HR records such as personnel files, attendance logs, compliance documents, and I9 documentation.
  • Assist with employee communications and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with the Director of HR on daytoday HR tasks, compliance, and reporting needs.
  • Creates a supportive, respectful workplace by actively listening to employees, de‑escalating conflicts, and helping guide teams toward constructive resolutions.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in office management, administrative operations, or related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Proficiency with office software (MS Office, GSuite, HRIS systems a plus).
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced production or manufacturing environment.

Preferred
  • Prior experience supporting HR functions (recruiting, onboarding, compliance).
  • Experience in manufacturing, food/beverage, or highly regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with CA labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
