Oregon Spice Company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time HR (20 hours a week to start) Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the HR field. While the primary focus of this role will be supporting safety and training efforts, this person will also assist with recruitment and onboarding as needed. The right candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable communicating across departments. There is potential for this position to grow to full-time. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with employee onboarding, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientations.
Provide support with recruitment tasks such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with applicants.
Translate HR documents and communications between English and Spanish.
Help maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Serve as a bridge between HR and Spanish-speaking employees to ensure clear and inclusive communication.
Assist with general HR tasks and special projects as assigned.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal proficiency required).
Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
