The City of Bend is accepting applications for one (1) regular, full-time Human Resources Program Specialist in the Public Works Department. We’re looking for someone who is approachable, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting employees. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and dependable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. They will bring a customer service mindset to their work, ensuring employees feel supported and informed.
Highly qualified candidates will have working knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, general human resources principles and practices and applicable laws, rules and regulations. They will have experience handling confidential information and exercising judgement and discretion. The ideal candidate will have a customer focus and bring skills in data accuracy and document management. Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
