Overview The Regional HR Manager oversees and manages human resources functions within a specific region to ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance with local regulations, and effective talent management. Core Responsibilities
Execute overarching strategic direction provided by the Global HR team for HR functions within the region, adapting global strategies to meet regional needs.
Implement and interpret global HR policies in compliance with local laws and regulations, fostering alignment and consistency within the region.
Oversee local talent recruitment, onboarding, and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Identify regional talent development needs to align local efforts with global talent strategies.
Manage day-to-day performance evaluations and implement employee engagement initiatives tailored to the region.
Conduct regional workforce planning and provide insights to the Global HR team to support organizational growth and expansion.
Ensure cost alignment with budgets and organizational needs through regular assessments of workforce costs.
Resolve local personnel issues, including employee grievances and conflicts, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Facilitate change management processes, promoting adaptability and supporting organizational communication initiatives.
Advise and coach executive leaders to address HR challenges and develop leadership capabilities.
Promote an inclusive work environment and encourage work-life balance through targeted employee engagement measures.
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations in collaboration with finance teams.
Develop and implement localized performance management systems to drive employee development and satisfaction.
Foster a culture of adaptability and collaboration to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee retention.
Collaborate with union representatives to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and effectively manage union-related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or managerial role.
Comprehensive understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices.
Proven ability to align regional HR strategies with global organizational goals.
Experience in talent management, workforce planning, and employee development.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
