Reports to: VP of Human Resources

Schedule: 5 days per week in-office (either in assigned practices or at the corporate office)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Regional Human Resources Business Partner to directly support assigned dental practices. This role will share field ownership with an existing HR Business Partner, with each supporting a defined group of offices.

This is a hands-on, field-facing role responsible for employee relations, investigations, leadership coaching, and reinforcing consistent workplace standards across practices. The ideal candidate brings experience from high-volume, frontline environments (retail, hospitality, healthcare, or similar) and is comfortable balancing partnership with accountability.

This role requires independence, strong judgment, and the ability to drive consistency across decentralized teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned dental practices
  • Lead employee relations matters including investigations, corrective action, transfers, and separations
  • Reinforce consistent application of company policies and behavioral standards across practices
  • Coach Office Managers and Practice Managers on documentation, performance conversations, and conflict resolution
  • Identify recurring employee or leadership issues and proactively address patterns before they escalate
  • Support change management as practices transition to standardized HR policies and procedures
  • Partner with Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal to ensure compliant and defensible outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of employee relations activity
  • Escalate high-risk or legally complex matters appropriately

What Success Looks Like

  • Stable and consistent HR practices across assigned region
  • Improved manager documentation quality
  • Reduced repeat employee relations escalations
  • Timely and defensible resolution of investigations
  • Strong working relationships with practice leaders

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a frontline, high-volume employee environment (retail, healthcare, hospitality, multi-site operations, etc.)
  • Strong employee relations background with demonstrated experience handling corrective action and investigations
  • Comfort delivering clear, firm messages while maintaining professionalism and respect
  • Ability to coach managers who are new to HR processes or resistant to documentation
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to operate independently in a field-based environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Prior work in healthcare, dental, or clinical settings
  • Field-based HR or HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience working in environments undergoing growth, acquisition, or standardization
