Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Specialist to join our team at Rock and Brews Casino. The HR Specialist plays a critical role in supporting our workforce and ensuring that HR operations align with regulatory standards, company policies, and the fast-paced demands of the casino and hospitality industry. This position involves a broad range of responsibilities including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Coordinate and execute recruitment strategies for various casino departments.
    • Manage job postings, conduct candidate screenings, and schedule interviews.
    • Facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
    • Support a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Assist in investigations and ensure timely documentation and resolution.
  • HR Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with state gaming regulations, labor laws, and internal policies.
    • Maintain and update employee records, including licensing and certifications.
    • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
  • Training & Development:
    • Coordinate training sessions and track employee participation.
    • Support leadership in developing and implementing employee development programs.
  • Benefits & Compensation Support:
    • Provide assistance with benefit enrollment, questions, and claims issues.
    • Process payroll changes and assist in compensation reviews as necessary.
  • HR Reporting & Analytics:
    • Prepare regular HR metrics and reports for management.
    • Monitor employee turnover, retention, and performance data.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferred
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices,
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
