The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist - Employee Relations to join the team in Seattle, WA.

About the Role:

You will develop and implement strategic communication plans in support of the company’s positive employee relations efforts for its non-union and union-represented workforce. You will collaborate across functions to create compelling materials that support employee relations, union negotiations and contracts and labor law. You will bring a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the capability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the Boeing Labor Relations team and its initiatives to support the company’s global workforce

  • Develop and implement ongoing, continuous plans for positive employee relations to showcase employee feedback in action and Boeing’s commitment to being an employer of choice

  • Develop and implement plans in support of union contract negotiations to ensure represented employees are educated and informed on pay, benefits and other contract highlights

  • Collaborate with internal communications teams, including Human Resources (HR), compensation and benefits, business unit, program and site communications to develop and implement cross-channel strategies

  • Partner with communicators from Media Relations, Government Operations and Investor Relations to ensure the company’s position is accurately reflected externally

  • Analyze performance metrics and gather feedback to continuously improve engagement strategies and optimize communication effectiveness

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft engaging content for audiences

  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required project management skills

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • 3+ years in leveraging data analytics to inform strategy and measure engagement outcomes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience supporting communications for corporate Human Resources or Labor Relations

  • 3+ years of experience supporting communications for aerospace or aviation

Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
