Position Summary:

As we continue to grow and evolve, we are excited to add a new member to our already dynamic and people-focused HR team. The Sr. HR Coordinator/Generalist will serve as a dedicated HR partner to designated departments, supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle-from recruitment and onboarding to engagement, retention, and employee relations.

Working closely with the Director of HR and department leaders, this role ensures proactive, responsive, and high-touch HR support tailored to the needs of each functional area. You will be joining a collaborative team that values trust, responsiveness, and continuous improvement, with a shared goal of delivering a best-in-class employee experience.

This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional (4–6 years) who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment and is passionate about driving culture, engagement, and organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Department Partnership & People Support

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for designated departments (e.g., Production, Maintenance, Warehouse)

  • Build strong relationships with frontline associates and department managers to provide timely, effective HR support

  • Support employee relations efforts, including coaching, investigations, documentation, and conflict resolution

  • Partner with department leaders on performance management, retention strategies, and engagement efforts

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for assigned departments, ensuring timely hiring of qualified candidates

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and manage the offer process

  • Coordinate and facilitate effective onboarding experiences that accelerate ramp-up and retention

Engagement & Culture

  • Conduct weekly touchpoints with department managers to assess team morale, challenges, and workforce dynamics

  • Champion a culture of open communication, accountability, and recognition across assigned departments

  • Roll out and analyze quarterly employee pulse surveys and engagement assessments

  • Use data to identify trends, recommend actions, and partner with leadership on improvement initiatives

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation across HRIS, personnel files, and employee communications

  • Monitor and support attendance, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes with consistency and fairness

  • Support the Director of HR in preparing reports, analyzing trends, and identifying workforce opportunities or risks

  • Assist with compliance and policy implementation, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company standards

Strategic HR Initiatives

  • Participate in broader HR projects such as succession planning, career pathing, DEI initiatives, and training programs

  • Support the development and rollout of new HR programs and policies that enhance organizational effectiveness

  • Contribute to change management efforts during periods of organizational growth and transformation

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Must have 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated strengths in recruiting, employee relations, and engagement

  • Experience supporting diverse operational teams (manufacturing, warehouse, production) strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and credibility at all levels

  • Highly organized with excellent time management, follow-through, and prioritization skills

  • Analytical and data-driven; capable of using metrics and surveys to drive decisions and improvements

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented; able to navigate complex situations with empathy and professionalism

  • Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance standards

  • HRIS and applicant tracking system (ATS) experience preferred

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • English language and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

WORK AUTHORIZATION

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a pre-condition of employment.
