Summary:

The Senior Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates human resource processes across all business locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function, including onboarding and offboarding processes, record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, and coordination support for the Chief People Officer. This position also assists with calendar management, organizing meetings, and supporting HR-related projects across the organization. The role offers broad exposure to all facets of HR and includes junior-level chief of staff-type responsibilities related to project management, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination. It also provides meaningful growth opportunities for someone looking to build a well-rounded HR career with increasing exposure to both strategic and operational initiatives. Over time, this position can evolve into expanded responsibilities across people operations, HR business partnership, or program management as the organization continues to scale.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Schedules meetings, submits expenses, and provides calendar support for the Chief People Officer and HR leadership.
  • Supports project management for HR initiatives and cross-functional organizational projects. 
  • Organizes, tracks, and follows up on HR priorities, action items, and deadlines. 
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes and verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assists with the preparation and coordination of the internship program, performance review and goal setting process. 
  • Files documents into electronic appropriate employee files.
  • Assists with or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Performs other related duties, ad hoc projects as assigned. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. 
  • At least 3-4 years of related experience required. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong project management and follow-through capabilities. 
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. 
  • Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 – $72,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
