The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of HR programs and processes that enable an effective, compliant, and employee-focused workplace. Working closely with leadership, managers, and employees, this position helps ensure consistent and compliant implementation of HR processes while contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This position supports core HR operations including data management and reporting, on- and off-boarding processes, employee relations support, and HR compliance activities.
This role serves as a trusted point of contact by providing responsive support, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure that HR practices align with company values and operational needs. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills, sound judgment, and a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, support cross-functional collaboration, and deliver reliable support at a fast-pace.
Essential Job Functions:
HR Operations & HRIS Administration:
- Manages HRIS data integrity, including employee record maintenance, data entry, and reporting to ensure accurate and reliable workforce data.
- Generates HR reports and assists with data analysis to support workforce planning and HR operational insights for leadership including Finance and the MOR.
- Maintains organizational charts and workforce reporting, ensuring accuracy of reporting structures and supporting leadership visibility into organizational design.
- Coordinates the preparation and submission of annual EEO1 reporting and maintains supporting documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensures proper documentation and maintenance of employee records, including personnel files and required employment documentation.
- Serves as a primary HR resource for employee and manager inquiries in focus areas, providing timely guidance and responsive support.
Employee Relations & Employee Experience:
- Partners with managers and employees to help maintain positive and productive employee relations, addressing day-to-day HR questions and workplace concerns.
- Assists in reviewing employee relations matters and demonstrates the ability to conduct objective and thorough factfinding in response to employee or manager concerns when appropriate.
- Supports employee engagement initiatives, including company events, employee activities, and internal engagement programs.
- Coordinates employee recognition programs and initiatives, helping ensure consistent implementation and celebration of employee contributions across the organization.
- Collaborates with the HR and Administrative team to support company events, including coordination of employee activities.
Compliance, Communication & Special Projects:
- Supports HR compliance efforts by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state employment requirements, ensuring proper documentation and recordkeeping.
- Assists in preparing documentation and materials related to employment matters, including supporting the organization in administrative proceedings or hearings when required.
- Contributes to HR initiatives, process improvements, and special projects that support the strategic and operational objectives of the HR function.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position may manage projects but does not have management responsibilities ( subject to change).
Education, Experience and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, or degree plus related experience required. HR certification strongly desired
- Minimum 5 years progressive Human Resources Generalist experience with strong compliance experience in a multi-site, multi-state organization
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and multiple priorities, in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Dental or related field a plus
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Multi-State and Federal Employment Law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs and HR Information Systems
- Proven experience handling sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well presentations skills
