Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum 5-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, Sr. HR Generalist or similar role.
    Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field.
    Intermediate to advance skills in MS Office particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
    Solid understanding/experience with human resources, benefit & compensation administration, recruitment & onboarding processes, handling employee relations issues/conducting investigations, organizational planning & development, FMLA/leave administration, employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, etc.), performance management, employee development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting.

    High level of professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential matters, information and detailed documentation.
    Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    Intermediate to advance skills of Microsoft Office products particularly Excel.

Desired Qualifications:

    HR certification a plus – SHRM or other
    Previous experience working for a government contractor
    Intermediate to advance skills in conducting Boolean Searches.
    Intermediate to advance MS Office skills in creating pivot tables, v look ups, etc.
