Job Description


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

*    Minimum 5-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, Sr. HR Generalist or similar role.
*    Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field.
*    Intermediate to advance skills in MS Office particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
*    Solid understanding/experience with human resources, benefit & compensation administration, recruitment & onboarding processes, handling employee relations issues/conducting investigations, organizational planning & development, FMLA/leave administration, employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, etc.), performance management, employee development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting.

*    High level of professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential matters, information and detailed documentation.
*    Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
*    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
*    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*    Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
*    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
*    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
*    Intermediate to advance skills of Microsoft Office products particularly Excel.

Desired Qualifications:

*    HR certification a plus - SHRM or other
*    Previous experience working for a government contractor
*    Intermediate to advance skills in conducting Boolean Searches.
*    Intermediate to advance MS Office skills in creating pivot tables, v look ups, etc.
