About WellStreet Urgent Care:

Founded in 2011, WellStreet Urgent Care has rapidly become a leader in providing accessible, high-quality healthcare nationwide. Our mission is simple but powerful: to deliver uncompromising care to our patients while offering a compassionate, convenient, and supportive experience.

At WellStreet, we’re not just about healthcare – we’re about making a difference. Our team members share a common purpose: to provide outstanding care and to ensure that everyone – both our patients and our colleagues – feel valued, respected, and empowered.

Your Role – Making a Meaningful Impact:

As our Senior HR Generalist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the HR experience for our dedicated team members. This isn’t just about filling a position – it’s about joining a company where you can make a true difference in the lives of our employees and the patients we serve. In this role, you’ll support HR projects, lead employee initiatives, and provide hands-on support across a range of HR functions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organization that values purpose, culture, and people. Plus, as part of this role, you’ll get the chance to travel locally (50-75%) to engage with teams and provide support where it’s needed most!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate closely with leadership to implement and manage HR initiatives across your assigned market (communication, onboarding, talent management, and more).

  • Partner with HR Business Partners on key strategies such as Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Learning and Development, and Diversity.

  • Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure a positive work environment.

  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for all new hires.

  • Manage all unemployment claims, FMLA requests, and leave of absences with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Ensure all worker’s compensation claims are processed according to company policies.

  • Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations to maintain compliance across all HR functions.

  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of HR experience, with a solid understanding of HR best practices and strategies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.

Extra Points For:

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry.

  • Familiarity with UKG systems.
