Job Description

Frette is seeking an Senior HR Manager to join the team. The Senior HR Manager will support the North America organization by developing, promoting, implementing, managing and maintaining effective HR policies, programs, procedures, and practices. Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance regarding employment issues including but not limited to corrective action, grievance resolution, and other labor/employee relations functions, recruitment, payroll & benefits administration.

Strategic Business Partnership:

  • Build and maintain positive professional relationships with all employees within the North America organization to guide and build programs to attract and retain talent.
  • Provide confidential support/counseling to all employees as needed.
  • Advise Managers on all matters of employee counseling for progressive discipline and developmental guidance. Provide coaching and education in human relations skills.
  • Partner with divisional heads to proactively identify recruitment needs and labor force planning based on business needs or growth plans.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Drive the benefit renewal process by maintaining or enhancing employee benefits and stabilize company costs.
  • Recommend competitive compensation, welfare and rewards programs to support the regional business needs.
  • Manage leave of absence cases ensuring compliance with local and national labor requirements.

Training & Development:

  • Implement training/ development and educational programs to enforce retention and longevity initiatives.
  • Identify training needs with Management and partner with Management to conduct and facilitate any management training workshops/ seminars.
  • Work with Management to train and communicate annual performance appraisal process for employees. Review all appraisals with managers ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Lead and develop programs to maintain a strong company culture that drives employee engagement, boosts performance, and reflects the Company’s values.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure the consistency and efficiency of HR policies, systems, and processes.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant U.S. and state-specific employment laws and regulations.
  • Handle all visa and immigration processes as needed for employees.
  • Mitigate legal and reputational risk with following consistent compliance and ethical standards.
  • Handle complex workplace investigations.
  • Responsible for the full labor budget and HR P&L forecasting for North America annually.
  • Lead or support all change management initiatives.

Team Management:

  • Manage a team of 4 (HR Manager, HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition Manager & Corporate Administrative Assistant).
  • Provide clear guidance and feedback to team members, remove obstacles and providing solutions to operational problems as they arise.
  • Foster a high-performing and collaborative HR team environment.
  • Manage departmental and general office budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 7+ years relevant progressive HR management experience, retail industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office, ADPWorkforceNow (HRIS), SmartRecruiters (ATS)
  • Flexible, honest and collaborative team player with exhibited ability to operate in a highly fluid environment in a flexible/adaptive way
  • Detail and metric-driven to achieve established goals
  • People centric approach - excellent customer service, time management and team building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong ability to deliver solutions to solve problems

Salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000.
