Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted and high-performing advisor to senior leadership, managers, and employees in our NY office, driving alignment between people strategy and business objectives. This role partners directly with executive leaders to build & develop highly engaged and high-performing teams, foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration, and drive key people programming in support of scaling business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Partnership
- Thought partner and execution of HR strategy, business goals, and performance outcomes.
- Influence and advise on organizational design, team structures, talent planning, and workforce development
2. Organizational Development & Culture
- Lead change management initiatives that support transformation and scaling across teams
- Drive culture-building efforts that promote engagement, inclusivity, and high performance.
- Use employee insights and data to shape initiatives around retention, belonging, and employee experience
3. Talent Planning & Development
- Collaborate with the global HR and Recruiting team on Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to support workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership and employee growth and development.
- Identify and address operational and skill gaps to support evolving business needs.
- Coach leaders and managers to build strong, feedback-rich teams and advance internal mobility
4. Employee Relations & Performance Enablement
- Provide expert guidance to managers on performance management, employee development, and conflict resolution.
- Navigate complex employee relations issues with discretion, empathy, and legal alignment
- Champion clear goal setting, ongoing feedback, and structured development planning
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement.
5. Data-Driven People Insights
- Use people data and KPIs to surface trends, identify risks, and guide decision-making
- Communicate insights in a clear, concise way to influence executive action.
6. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement scalable, employee-centered programs to ensure consistency and equity in employee experiences
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in HR, Business, or other relevant field
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years supporting senior leadership in a high-growth or transformation-focused environment.
- Deep knowledge of organizational design, performance enablement, talent planning, and employee engagement best practices
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner across all levels of an organization, including executive leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting people data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and change management capabilities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with employment law, compliance practices, and employee relations in multi-state environments.
- Background in a startup, e-commerce, or consumer products company in the collectibles space.
- Passion for sports, collectibles, or fan culture (a plus, not a requirement)
The salary range for this position is $188,000- $250,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
