Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and strategic Senior Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor and change catalyst for our organization. In this role, you will partner with team and organizational leaders to develop people strategies that integrate with and support global business strategies, goals, and objectives. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution at office headquarters.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, employee relations management, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of driving positive change within organizations. The ideal candidate is passionate about the business and is proactive in operating with their client. The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping our people-centric culture and ensuring our organization's continued success. This position will report directly to the Director, Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Provides HR advice and counsel for significant departments and or across the company.
- Track employee relations metrics to identify trends and recommend proactive interventions.
- Conduct and manage investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, and workplace disputes; document findings and recommend outcomes.
- Participates with senior leadership in the development of HR strategy, ensuring the delivered services support the company’s vision, anticipated growth and business and operational objectives.
- Consults with business leaders on talent, leadership, people strategy, organizational development, rewards and culture topics.
- Engages with senior leaders from a strategic and operational perspective.
- Proactively assesses business risk and develops recommendations for mitigation, ensuring adequate planning to address anticipated future changes.
- Ensures dynamic assessment of employee’s strengths and development opportunities on a go forward basis for their client groups.
- Facilitates and influences leaders in the development of effective organizational structures.
- Analyzes how change can be sustained and supported through redesigned HR strategies, programs, practices, policies and processes.
- Proactively works with clients and HR organizations to clarify current and anticipated workforce capability gaps and how those gaps may be closed.
- Provide ideas and challenges to the leadership teams, acting as a catalyst for change.
- Support internal clients and stakeholders with robust data, analytics, measurements, and evaluations. Provide monthly reports as requested.
- Be the expert and conduit on people challenges, especially related to Performance Management, Talent Planning, and Change Management.
- Help oversee and create job descriptions to attract talented candidates. Serve as the link between management hiring needs and our service providers.
- Participate in the candidate screening/interviewing process for significant roles to ensure new hires align with organization goals.
- Serve on the HRIS conversion project team. Primary accountability for HRIS integration including data integrity, accuracy, and reporting. Support module rollouts and change management as needed.
- Conduct exit interviews, noting trends and making recommendations.
- Act as the primary backup for feeding information to payroll including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay/leaves.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend company-sponsored events.
- Researches, investigates, and documents a variety of HR-related issues.
- Facilitate training related to HR programs and employee and or labor relations issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor, Business, or related field required.
- 6+ years of HR experience

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree
- Human Resource related certifications (SPHR, SHRM-CP)
- Employee relations certifications

- Ability to facilitate, constructively challenge, and influence business leadership on people/HR issues.
- Strong critical thinking and relationship-building skills.
