Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: UT Federal Credit Union Corporate Headquarters
Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources

About the Role

The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role formulates strong partnerships across business units to deliver value-added HR services aligned with organizational goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution across all areas of Human Resources.

What You'll Do

As our HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with leaders to identify HR needs and provide proactive, practical solutions.

  • Lead and support recruiting, hiring, change management, and employee exit processes.

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough and objective investigations.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and internal policies.

  • Support compensation strategy through market benchmarking, internal equity analysis, and employee education.

  • Assist with payroll processing, HRIS management, reporting, and process improvements.

  • Support benefits administration including open enrollment, vendor servicing, and employee education.

  • Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational restructuring efforts.

  • Conduct stay and exit interviews and provide meaningful insights to leadership.

  • Represent UTFCU at recruiting events and serve as a key point of contact for employee HR inquiries.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

  • Strong working knowledge across multiple HR disciplines, including:

    • Employee relations

    • Compensation and benefits

    • Payroll processing

    • HRIS management

    • Performance management

    • Federal and state employment law

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build trust quickly and serve as a credible, professional HR advisor.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
