Our team is growing, and we’re seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to play a key role in supporting our people and advancing our mission.

About the Role
The Senior HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, providing expertise across all areas of HR including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and training. This role is both strategic and hands-on — helping shape APN’s culture while ensuring excellence in day-to-day HR operations.

This is a hybrid position based at our Edwards,CO. location, with regular travel required to APN’s satellite locations to support staff, attend meetings, and oversee HR operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support full-cycle recruiting, from workforce planning to onboarding.

  • Provide guidance to managers and staff on employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and accreditation standards (including JCAHO).

  • Manage and optimize HRIS systems, reporting, and data integrity.

  • Oversee benefits administration and support compensation planning.

  • Design and deliver employee engagement, recognition, and development programs.

  • Mentor and support HR team members while partnering with leadership on strategic HR initiatives.

  • Support special programs such as community recruiting events and organizational projects.

  • Travel regularly to APN’s satellite locations to ensure consistent HR support and presence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred.

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.

  • 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines.

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently to satellite sites and work effectively in a hybrid role.

  • Experience in healthcare or behavioral health environments is a plus.
