Position Summary

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team in Tysons, Virginia. This is a multifaceted role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable wearing many hats. You will lead our talent acquisition efforts while overseeing the full employee lifecycle and providing critical administrative and executive support. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a "no task is too small" attitude and a proven track record of scaling teams.

Responsibilities 
  • Heavy Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation. You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline of high-quality candidates. 
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead all onboarding and offboarding procedures, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for every team member. 
  • People Leadership: Manage HR staff and provide guidance to department heads on employee relations, performance management, and team development.
  • Retention & Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to improve employee satisfaction, culture, and long-term retention.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all HR activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and lead internal audits.
  • Executive Assistance: Provide high-level administrative support to the executive leadership team, including calendar management, travel coordination, and special projects.
  • Operations & Administration: Handle essential office management tasks and other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth daily operation of the Tysons office.
  • Maintain employee records and assist in internal audits of documentation, as required
  • Create job descriptions and manage job board postings, responses, and candidate interactions
  • Handle interviews, make hiring recommendations, and handle onboarding of new staff members
  • Assist with guidance and recommendations for staff disciplinary actions and firings
  • Recommend policy changes to company handbook and operations
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity 
  • Assist with interdepartmental staff issues and communication to keep the company running smoothly
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year) from an accredited institution is required. 
  • Experience: 7–9 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant focus on high-volume recruiting. 
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing people and leading HR initiatives. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Paycom, Workday, etc.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and also be a Team Player
  • Deep familiarity with basic HR policies, US employment laws, and industry best practices
  • Presence: This is a 100% on-site position at our Tysons office. No remote or hybrid work options are available.
