We are currently seeking hard-working, motivated individuals for our open Regional Employee Relations Manager position!

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing the disciplinary process of the labor group with the management and HR staff.
  • Analyzes and assists in the preparation of arbitration, mediations, hearings and any related Labor relations activities in order to identify problem areas
  • Assists and adheres to the terms of labor agreements by monitoring day to day implementation of policies and procedures, wages, hours and working conditions
  • Partners with HR and Operations Management on investigations and discipline
  • Work closely with the Operations Management team to provide support, advice & counsel as necessary
  • Oversee fact-finding process and provide input when necessary to investigations for site grievances and employee disciplinary issues
  • Ensure compliance with labor agreements and company policies through labor audits

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with concentration in Labor Relations
  • 3+ years of Labor Relations/Employee Relations experience while handling multiple locations
  • Experience in conducting investigations and recommending discipline
  • Experience in grievance handling and arbitration preparation
  • Ability to relate and communicate effectively with all levels of employees
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, and/or warehousing
  • Strong written and verbal presentations skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel 50%
