Position Summary
NEST is seeking a collaborative, solutions-oriented Senior HR Generalist to support and enhance the employee experience across the organization. This role serves as a key partner in the execution of HR operations, employee engagement initiatives, onboarding, performance processes, recruiting coordination, HR analytics, and people programs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, analytical, and passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences while helping scale HR processes in a fast-paced and growing environment. This position offers broad exposure across all areas of Human Resources and the opportunity to contribute strategically to organizational growth and culture initiatives.
The Senior HR Generalist will work closely with leadership and employees across the organization to support operational excellence, compliance, engagement, and talent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support day-to-day HR operations while ensuring a positive and responsive employee experience.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and employee status changes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within HRIS platforms.
- Assist with policy administration and process improvement initiatives.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Support employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.
- Assist in planning and coordinating company events, employee appreciation activities, and engagement programs.
- Coordinate employee surveys and compile reporting on trends and feedback themes.
- Partner with HR leadership to support initiatives that strengthen employee morale, retention, and workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support recruiting operations including job postings, phone screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer coordination.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics and facilitate portions of new hire orientation as needed.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Assist with recruiting metrics and candidate experience initiatives.
Performance Management & HR Programs
- Support performance review cycles, new hire check-ins, and employee development processes.
- Assist managers and HR leadership with performance documentation and follow-up activities.
- Support organizational initiatives including talent reviews, workforce planning, and HR projects.
HR Reporting & Systems Support
- Generate and maintain recurring HR reports and dashboards related to attendance, PTO, engagement, recruiting, and performance metrics.
- Support HRIS maintenance, data integrity, troubleshooting, and process documentation.
- Assist with HR analytics and reporting requests for leadership.
Benefits & Employee Support
- Support employee benefit communications, onboarding, and open enrollment activities.
- Assist employees with benefit-related questions and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Coordinate benefit documentation and employee communications related to enrollments and qualifying events.
Compliance & HR Administration
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with HR audits, compliance reporting, training tracking, and documentation management.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment
- HRIS experience required; UKG experience preferred*

Pay & Perks
- Starting at $80k annually
- Bonus opportunities
- 80 hours Vacation + 32 hours Personal (Year 1)
