POSITION TITLE: Sr. HR Generalist (contract)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. HR Generalist will have a broad knowledge of human resource functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. The Sr. HR Generalist will be a team player and implement various human resources programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer and educate on the company’s benefit plans and administer leaves of absence.
Lead local talent acquisition and recruitment processes, to include accessing local job networks, screening candidates, coordinating interviews and leading job fairs.
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training development initiatives.
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, compensation inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise with and between employees and/or management.
Take the lead in organizing trainings and implementing HR policies.
Use HRIS to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential.
Act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR related topics.
Ensure that the HR department’s operations are running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices and regulatory changes in human resources and employment law
Other tasks and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
5-7 years as an exempt level HR Generalist
Supported a population base of 500-1,000 worksite employees
Bachelor's degree or relevant certification preferred
Able to drive between two site locations.
Bilingual in English & Spanish
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
