Primary Purpose:

To serve as an advanced-level Human Resource Partner within the Contract Research Organization (CRO).A  leadership role within the Human Resources function, providing strategic direction and oversight for comprehensive HR processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•             Strategic HR Management: Contribute to and implement advanced strategic HR initiatives.

•             Employee Relations Leadership: Lead in addressing complex , sensitive employee relations matters with expert guidance and investigations. Conduct investigations, address grievances, and mediate conflicts at a higher level.

•             Provide expert guidance on legal matters related to HR practices.

•             Talent Development: Contribute to talent development initiatives and employee training. Assist in implement strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier talent.

•             Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with complex employment laws and regulations. Develop and implement high-impact initiatives to enhance employee engagement, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Lead strategic employee recognition programs and events. Oversee the design and administration of comprehensive benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.

Address complex benefits inquiries and contribute to the strategic development of benefits offerings.

Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field with  6+ years experience is required -OR-

Master's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or related field with 4+ years experience is required -OR-

Ph.D. or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or related  field with 3+ years experience is required

*Significant work experience will be considered as a substitution for education

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•             Advanced understanding of HR principles and practices and employment laws.

•             Expertise in employee relations, talent development, and HR strategy.

•             Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

•             Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

•             Proficient knowledge of HR software and tools. Extensive experience in HR analytics, strategic planning, and influencing at the executive level. Oven success in driving complex HR initiatives, managing organizational change, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and human resources systems.  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including influencing, consultative, and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives. adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Working Conditions:

This position is regularly performed in an in-person office environment, which means the physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards, with a moderate level of noise. Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen with freedom of movement on a regular basis is expected. Minimal physical effort is required but could include: repetitive motion of wrists and fingers; talking and hearing; and handling of light materials and supplies. This position will require up to 25% travel.
