Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and assist with issues related to conduct, performance, grievances, and benefits. Provide guidance to management on employee relations matters.
  • Benefits and PTO schedules: Administer various benefits programs, handle enrollment, and oversee and administer various PTO schedules in the ADP system.      This would include the ACA and subsidy calculations. Assist with questions – PTO audits and processing by ensuring accurate and timely data entry for employee files.
  • HRIS and Records Management: Maintain and update the HR Information System (HRIS) with accurate employee data. Organize and manage both hard and soft copies of employee personnel files in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • 401K Maintenance & Audits: Support the 401k application with quarterly audits, and monthly meetings with application vendors. Communicate with team members on upcoming seminars. Respond to questions from team members and partner with the payroll team for smooth cycle processing of contributions.      Partner with the vendor for the year-end cycle audit.
  • Compliance: Ensures all HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with current labor laws and regulations. This would include minimum wage and OSHA regulations, benefits items such as audit and adjust 1095c to ensure compliance.  Assist with compliance audits and internal investigations.
  • Employee Engagement: Assist in planning and coordinating employee events and recognition programs and help with other initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and company culture.
  • Committees:  Work with various committees and teams as the primary representative for the human resources team.


Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a generalist role with a strong understanding of multiple HR functions.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and other HR-related software (e.g., payroll systems, ADP).
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, state and federal employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
