Talent Acquisition Manager Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager (Mission Critical/Data Centers) will be responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for high-demand talent, supporting mission-critical and data center projects. This role specializes in proactive sourcing, pipeline development, and strategic planning and recruiting for both project-based and office roles that support the planning, development, construction, commissioning, and operations of data centers.

This position will partner closely with leadership to anticipate hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver exceptional recruiting outcomes in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Own and lead recruiting strategy for data center-related roles, including hard-to-fill specialty positions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand workforce needs, forecasting, and required skillsets across active and upcoming data center projects.
  • Develop recruiting plans aligned with business priorities, ramp schedules, and project timelines.
  • Provide market intelligence on compensation trends, availability of talent, competitor hiring activity, and sourcing channels.

Proactive Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines through proactive outreach and targeted sourcing methods.
  • Use multiple sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, niche industry platforms, networking, referrals, etc.) to identify and engage candidates.
  • Develop sourcing campaigns focused on key data center skill sets and geographies.
  • Maintain an active bench of ready-to-interview candidates for rapid project mobilization.

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, offer negotiation, and onboarding transition.
  • Create compelling job postings and ensure roles are marketed effectively.
  • Evaluate candidates based on technical competency, culture fit, and long-term potential.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience through consistent communication and professionalism.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to hiring managers and senior leadership.
  • Lead intake meetings and align on qualifications, priorities, and interview expectations.
  • Coach hiring leaders on best practices, structured interviewing, and selection decisions.
  • Ensure timely feedback loops and movement through the recruiting funnel.

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source-of-hire, pipeline conversion rates, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to recruiting processes and workflows.
  • Support employer branding efforts for mission critical/data center recruiting and representation at events as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant hiring laws and regulations.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, including proactive sourcing and full-cycle recruiting.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting within data centers, mission critical, construction, engineering, MEP, commissioning, or similar technical industries.
  • Demonstrated success filling high-volume and/or hard-to-fill technical roles in applicable areas.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Include:

  • Strong working knowledge of the construction industry and positions.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, recruiting databases).
  • Ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
