Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading the full-cycle recruitment strategy for the health system, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains high quality talent. This role oversees a team of recruiters, workforce development and on-boarding staff, and partners closely with operational and clinical leaders to meet workforce needs in a highly competitive healthcare environment. The Manager drives innovative sourcing strategies, workforce planning initiatives, and a best-in-class onboarding experience to support organizational goals and patient care excellence.
Example of Essential Functions:
Talent Acquisition Strategy and Leadership
· Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals and workforce plans.
· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and onboarding staff.
· Establish recruitment metrics, dashboards, and reporting (e.g., time-to-fill, quality
of hire, cost per hire).
· Partner with HR and executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and pipeline development.
Recruitment Operations
· Oversee full-cycle recruitment for clinical, non-clinical, and leadership roles.
· Ensure efficient, consistent, and compliant hiring practices across the health system.
· Implement efficient, consistent, and compliant hiring practices across the health system.
· Implement innovative sourcing strategies, including digital platforms, partnerships, and community outreach.
· Manage relationships with external vendors, job boards, recruitment agencies and job fairs.
Workforce Development
· Partner with schools, universities, and training programs to create internships, residencies, and career pathways.
Onboarding and Candidate Experience
· Oversee onboarding programs to ensure a seamless, engaging, and compliant new hire experience.
· Collaborate with HR and department leaders to improve new hire integration and retention.
· Continuously evaluate and enhance the candidate and onboarding experience.
Compliance and Best Practices
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations.
· Maintain knowledge of industry trends, labor market conditions, and healthcare recruitment challenges.
· Promote employer branding and the organization’s value proposition in the marketplace.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
· 5-8+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
· 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
· Experience recruiting for clinical roles (nursing, allied health, physicians) preferred.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.
Pay range: $94,586 -$142,667
