Job Description:

*Remote position but must be based in Southern California*

Working to support the recruiting activities of the West Division, the Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team of Talent Acquisition Managers and Field Recruiters.  This includes day to day oversight and guidance for all work activities.  The Manager, Talent Acquisitions develops and executes recruiting strategies used by the team and ensures they are up to date and effective and when needed implements new ones. This role will serve as lead advisor on employee recruiting, interviewing and improving local brand identity for assigned areas.  The Manager, Talent Acquisition plays a pivotal role in the success of a positive “Candidate Experience” by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members and helping to build effective processes that lead to an easy and simplified hiring experience.  

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Providing day to day supervision of Talent Acquisition Managers (TAMs) and Field Recruiters for an assigned team.

  • Leading, guiding and coaching  team members to maximize performance. 

  • Evaluating work output and ensuring team members achieve goals.  Will provide corrective action if needed to keep the team on track. 

  • Serving as ATS/Workday Expert to streamline team activities and build effective recruiting and staffing processes. 

  • Serving as leader of Divisional Recruiting activities and works closely with internal recruiting support staff and HR Operations.  

  • Leading and guiding Operational Leaders through staffing processes for GM and MM roles when possible.

  • Actively engage in improving Talent Acquisitions effectiveness and reporting capabilities

  • Providing Job Fairs/Events support for the team as needed. 

  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 

  • Leadership experience and strong desire to achieve success

  • Internal Gerber Collision and Glass recruiting experience preferred

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System 

  • Computer skills 

  • Understanding of recruiting processes and Workday Recruiting

  • Certified Professional Human Resources (CPHR) preferred 

  • Experience developing relationships with Technical Schools, Colleges and Universities preferred

Required Skills/Abilities 

  • Previous leadership experience in Recruiting

  • Recruiting operation experience 

  • Excellent Customer Service

  • Communication Skills

  • Travel is expected when required

Compensation Details:

Expected Pay Range: 

$97,000.00 - $138,000.00 / Year

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. 

Supplemental Pay: 

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
