JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail oriented Talent Manager in Los Angeles to book celebrity talent across all Condé Nast video series. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with industry relationships, and has a knowledge of media trends and a passion for pop culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
Proactively strategize, pitch, and negotiate talent bookings within an assigned beat for long form video and social media series across all Condé Nast brands.
Work in collaboration and alignment with The Talent Group video team structure, and support fellow talent managers with content brainstorming and on-set coverage.
Participate and contribute in weekly talent meetings to provide booking updates to the Condé Nast programming teams.
Work in partnership with the programming and production teams for each booked shoot to ensure they’re executed seamlessly and videos are published in a timely manner.
Coordinate with brand social teams and talent representatives to ensure videos are being properly promoted across all social media platforms.
Maintain and nurture strong relationships with studios, networks, music labels and personal publicists to create awareness of CNE initiatives and video booking opportunities.
Have a strong grasp of pop culture, celebrities, influencers, cultural experts, athletes, and social media stars to best pitch and book talent across all Condé Nast titles.
Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years experience in talent relations, PR, or talent booking.
Relationships with celebrity publicists, studios, music labels and networks are needed.
Must be detail oriented, and have the ability to collaborate and work synergistically in a team environment.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $85,000-$92,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
