Technology Training Manager

Position

The Human Resources department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF Insurance values to join their team as a Technology Training Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI and data literacy upskilling strategies, covering needs assessment, curriculum design, and post-training evaluation.
• Create and update training materials, workshops, e-learning, guides, tutorials, and job aids-for AI tools, data platforms, and productivity apps.
• Conduct needs assessments, align training with business goals, and deliver content via multiple modalities.
• Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure training effectiveness, user adoption rates, competency improvements, and return on training investment.
• Stay current on technological trends and continuously evolve training offerings. Advise other WCF Training Professionals on technical improvements and/or industry's best practices.
• Increase AI tool adoption and data literacy organization-wide, measured by usage analytics and assessments.
• Implement adoption plans (communications, champions network, nudges) and manage resistance.
• Regularly conduct training evaluations across all programs delivered and report on results.
• Develop and update training materials to reflect system changes and new features.
• Report training metrics and strategic recommendations monthly to the CIO.
• Make sure training programs meet accessibility standards, adult learning principles, and company policies.
• Respond to ad-hoc training requests and technology support needs within established service level expectations.
• Continuously demonstrate professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or related field; relevant certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate training, or instructional design, with 2+ years in technology training
• Proven experience developing and delivering training on AI tools, data analytics, and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Proficiency in using data to answer business questions; using data cubes, semantic models, and Power BI
• Experience with learning needs assessment, competency mapping, problem solving, and training effectiveness measurement.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with developing e-learning programs and virtual training capabilities
• Experience with change management is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and drive results through influence.

An internal candidate should have six months in their current position. Candidates should have acceptable job performance and a good attendance record in their current position and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.

Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, company paid life insurance, 401K with a generous 6% employer match and additional benefits such as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and time off to volunteer in the local community. All employees earn 4 weeks of vacation their first year. Expected salary for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 depending on experience and education.
